The aim of this course is to expand the basic knowledge of general, inorganic and organic chemistry, which are necessary for the following courses of Inorganic Chemistry for Bachelor´s and Organic Chemistry for Bachelor´s. These seminars emphasize the chemical nomenclature, quantification of redox equations, the general trends in physical and chemical properties of the periodic table, the knowledge of Lewis acids and bases and important properties of inorganic and organic compounds.
Aim of the course -
Last update: TAJ101 (03.12.2013)

The students will be able to have knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry at the level corresponding to secondary schools focused on natural science.

Requirements to the exam -
Last update: CAJZLJ (19.11.2017)

Students will write 2 control tests during the semester. First test from inorganic part for max. 65 points and second from organic part for max. 35 points. For passing the subject the student must have at least 50% from each part (i.e., min. 32 and 17 points from inorganic and organic part, respectively).
