• Basic terms from systems engineering and information systems fields. Modeling paradigms.

• System architecture and information system architectures.

• Information system lifecycle, approaches to information system development.

• Behavioral oriented process modeling methods – basics of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)

• Behavioral oriented process modeling methods – advanced elements of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard and collaboration diagrams.

• Behavioral oriented process modeling methods – Activity Diagrams from Unified Modeling Language (UML)

• Other behavioral oriented process modeling methods.

• Function and structural oriented methods of process modeling

• Process and process system measurement and evaluation

• Specification of functional requirements on software application using Use Case diagram from Unified Modeling Language (UML) including using of advanced relations between use cases.

• Modeling use case scenarios using text description and Activity Diagrams from Unified Modeling Language (UML)

• Modeling states of information system objects and data modeling using Entity Relationship (E-R) diagram

• Management information systems
