Principles of molecular genetics diagnostics of patients with monogenic disorder. Students will learn methods of Sanger and massive parallel sequencing.
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to isolate DNA and prepare a PCR product for Sanger sequencing. They will be able to explain Sanger sequencing reaction and to prepare a library for massive parallel sequencing. Students will be able to analyze the results of sequencing.
