During the last decades the progressive membrane technologies are widely applied in industry. Introduction of these technologies is the main aim of this subject. The membrane technologies based on different driving forces like pressure gradient, concentration gradient and also the electric potential gradient, are taken into account. The main attention is focused on the membrane processes applicable in hydrogen technologies.
Aim of the course -
Last update: ROZ105 (28.11.2013)

Students will be able to:

  • define the basic membrane processes
  • group the membrane processes on the basis of driving force
  • describe the basic industrial applications of membrane processes
