The subject aims at improving technological knowledge and laboratory skills and ability of gethering and analysing the information provided by different subjects. The student will work at one of the cooperating departments: Dept. of Chemical Technology of Monument Conservation, Dept. of Glass and Ceramics, Dept. of Metals and Corrosion Engineering.

1. semestrální práce je povinná, absence je omluvena pouze v případě nemoci.

2. v případě nemoci je tolerována pouze 1 absence neomluvená lékařem, další případné absence je nutné doložit potvrzením lékaře.

3. pokud je student nemocen, je povinen tuto skutečnost oznámit mailem vyučujícímu dané práce, a to nejpozději den předem do 16 hodin. Ve výjimečných případech v den laboratoří do 8 hodin.

4. omluvené absence je možné nahradit pouze ve vypsaných termínech.

5. laboratoře nemohou být nahrazeny v případě neomluvených absencí.

6. zápočet ze semestrální práce je možné získat pouze pokud student úspěšně absolvuje vlastní experimentální práci, včas odevzdá celkovou zprávu a úspěšně tuto práci prezentuje formou krátké přednášky.

7. Zápočty zapisuje pracovník pověřený vedením předmětu Semestrální práce oboru technologie restaurování na tom pracovišti, na kterém student podle svého zaměření pracoval. Hodnocení:

Hodnocení odborné úrovně práce v tištěné popř. v elektronické podobě

Hodnocení prezentace v Power Pointu

Známka je průměrem těchto dílčích hodnocení

K získání klasifikovaného zápočtu je potřeba (tříletý i čtyřletý obor):

1x svázaný výtisk semestrální práce, obrázky vždy vloženy v textu.

1x semestrální práce zpráva ve Wordu v elektronické podobě (CD)

1x prezentace v Power Pointu

The content of the work depends on the student's specialization:

Technological proposal of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage objects (collections, archaeological findings, architectonical mönuments) including the survey and verification of the conservation proposal and completing the conservation report.

The work might be supplemented with experimental study of the applied materials (properties, stability, etc.).

The content of the semestral work follows the content of the bachelor work. The semestral work also serves for improving of technological knowledge, laboratory skills and practicing of handcraft techniques. It leads the student towards cooperation with humane-educated specialists, restorators and other specialists.

The examples of semestral work topics:

  • Survey and technological proposal for restoration of historical manuscripts.

  • Technological proposal for removal of unwanted adhesive from historical textile.

  • Survey and technological proposal for renovation of historical buildings.

  • Survey and conservation proposal for historic roof frame.

  • Conservation of wooden objects saturated with water.

• Conservation archaeological metals.
