The course deals with selected chapters of physical chemistry on advanced level. Knowledge acquired in the basic course Physical Chemistry I is extended to real-behaving systems. Subjects covered involve state behavior of matter, thermodynamics of fluids, phase and chemical equilibria, properties of electrolyte-containing systems, chemical kinetics, and basic concepts of surface chemistry.

Předmět obsahuje vybrané kapitoly fyzikální chemie určené pro pokročilého studenta. Rozšiřuje základní poznatky získané v kurzu Fyzikální chemie I na reálně chovající se systémy. Pokrývá témata z oblastí stavového chování a termodynamiky tekutin, fázových rovnováh, rovnováh chemických reakcí, vybrané partie z oblasti vlastností a chování systémů obsahujících elektrolyty, kinetiku chemických reakcí, a úvod do povrchové chemie.
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:
explain and describe basic relations governing physico-chemical processes
solve real physico-chemical problems encountered in chemical engineering practice
Last update: KNOBLOCL (11.06.2013)
Studenti budou umět:
vysvětlit a popsat základní zákonitosti fyzikálně-chemických procesů. Budou schopni řešit reálné fyzikálně-chemické úlohy, se kterými se setkává inženýr chemie v praxi.

Requirements to the exam -
Last update: Dohnal Vladimír doc. Ing. CSc. (16.08.2013)
For participation in the exam each student has to get the credit from the seminar meetings. A student will be granted the credit when he/she gains the average 50 per cent of the maximum available from the written tests (partial tests during the semester or the summary test).
Last update: Cibulka Ivan doc. Ing. CSc. (14.11.2012)
K účasti na zkoušce je nutno získat zápočet. Podmínkou obdržení zápočtu je zisk alespoň 50 procent z maximálního počtu bodů v průběžných testech, případně testu souhrnném.
