The subject concerns active network components, their function in each OSI model layer and their settings. It is focused on usage and implementation of routers and switches in modern computer networks. Identification of basic security risks in computer networks and focuses on prevention of the risks. In addition it concerns settings of Active Directory in environment of MS Windows Server 2008.
