Annotation -
This course is designed to be a friendly introduction to statistics and probability. The topics include confidence intervals and hypothesis testing, single or multiple linear regression, analysis of variance or analysis of categorial data. The end of the lecture will be devoted to the introduction to multivariate statistical methods.

Students will know:

Basic principles of probability and probability distributions.

Basic statistical techniques including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing, analysis of variance or analysis of contingence tables.
