The subject is focused on improving and developing language and communication skills in general English, particularly on specific features of the international language examination. Topics include sources of information, occupation, relationships, personality, abilities and skills, health. The final level of proficiency is C1 according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

• understand and interpret authentic texts (newspaper articles, extracts from literature) and listening materials

• make arguments in a discussion using all acquired language skills

• use proper and precise vocabulary

• write an essay, a report, formal and informal letters

• understand listenings from all common situations
