The course "Fundamentals of chemical engineering" introduces the students to basics of unit chemical operations and general approaches to solving chemical engineering problems.

Classify and describe selected unit operations.

Understand terms such as heat, mass and fluid transfer and their relation to unit operations.

Solve basic chemical engineering problems related to unit operations.
