Annotation -
Last update: Pátková Vlasta (19.11.2018)
The course describes the mechanisms and kinetics of interaction of glass and glass-ceramic materials with aqueous solutions and body fluids. It shows principles and development of advanced physico-chemical models of these interactions.
Aim of the course -
Last update: Pátková Vlasta (19.11.2018)

Students will be able to:

describe basic mechanisms during glass corrosion and during interaction of glass and glass-ceramics with simulated body fluids;

use existing physico-chemical models fro description of materials interaction with body environment and with liquid pharmaceutical forms;

develop and modify kinetical models of materials interaction with body environment.
