Students will be able to:

Search for primary and secondary sources of information using the basic databases (Chemical Abstracts, SciFinder, ISI Web of Science);

Analyze and evaluate information and to structure and process them to the form of scientific text;

Present and defend the main points of the literature review in the form of presentation and discussion.

Students themselves will search literature related to their individual topics.

Students will learn, how to write the Bachelors thesis.

Cílem semináře je poskytnout studentům znalosti a naučit je dovednostem potřebným při vypracovávání bakalářské práce a při presentování jejich výsledků. V rámci semináře se studenti naučí komunikovat o pracovních problémech a naučí se je řešit. Dále budou poučeni o způsobech presentace výsledků a pravidelně budou před svými kolegy podávat přehled dosažených výsledků a diskutovat s nimi. Naučí se též využívat informační zdroje a rozborem prací z předchozích let se naučí, jak správně napsat bakalářskou práci a jak se vyvarovat chyb.
