The subject is based on the basic principles of inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and solid state chemistry and physics. The subject concern on the deeper relation between structure, properties and technology of inorganic materials. Subject reflex modern trends in the research field of solid state chemistry and physics.

Aim of the course -

Students will have a knowledge about:

Structure of inorganic material and relation between structure and material properties.

Thermodynamic and kinetic of solid state materials.

Methods for synthesis of solid state materials, nanomaterials, single-crystals and thin films

Analytical methods used in solid state chemistry.
