The lectures provide an overview of the basic types of this material group and their main properties and they introduce students to fundamental physico-chemical processes occurring during their manufacturing

describe the structure of inorganic non-metallic materials

describe fundamental processes at production of glass, ceramics, glass-ceramics and inorganic binders
