The course focuses on understanding the technological and chemicalengineering tools applied to the field of waste gases. It is all about understanding the technological schemes, in which the application of the chemical operations leading to the separation of pollutants from waste gases. Attention is also paid to the possible use of by-products processing.

Students will be able to: Work with specific technological scheme of the technology. Determine on the basis of mass balance process key technological currents. Specify technological conditions which have a significant impact on the possibility of producing by-products of pollutants.
