The target of the course is to learn students to write in a proper way original and review papers, research reports, preparation of the research projects, to complete various types of applications (for research funding, scholarships, etc.). Important part of the course is also preparation of oral presentations on the selected topics. Students will become familiar also with the evaluation of scientific activities and performance of the scientific societies.

Preparation of the scientific projects and information about agencies supporting research in Czech Republic and abroad, including option to apply for scholarships 6, Czech and international scientific societies and their role in the science progress 7. History and new trends in applied biochemistry 8. Biochemistry as a tool for the development of new analytical approaches (biosensors, DNA chips, etc.) 9.
