The course focuses on the usage of modeling techniques to support management decision making. The first part of the course is focused on detrministic models, based on the balance models and their use in the planning of complex chemical and food production, linear optimization models and their applications in transportation, manufacturing process planning, distribution systems design. A significant part of the course is devoted to applications of nets theory to manage complex projects.

Students will be able to: Create models of decision on taking situations at enterprise level in planning, operative management of production process and distribution
Use the standard SW products for models solving
Create their own algortithm for non-typical descision situations
Apply the acquired knowledge to the management of big construction projects, improvement of the existing processes, maintenance management, etc. Last update: TAJ437 (16.12.2013)

Last update: Botek Marek (21.09.2017)
