Many processes in the chemical and food business are very complex and it is not possible to simply implement improvements without sufficiently verifying them. One of the ways how to relatively easily and inexpensively assess the impact of proposed changes in the production is the simulation in special programme Witness. Students try out modelling of production and storage processes, transport and labor. They can try out how to make the decision-making process and changes in production that are visible immediately.
Aim of subject is to give basic information about simulation approach to project management tasks mainly in logistics.

During the lessons students will be work on projects which deals with real problems from basic areas of logistics such as transportation, storage and manufacturing.
