Annotation -

This subject integrated four partial seminars concerning teaching chemistry (chemistry lesson, periodical for chemistry teachers, experience from pedagogical practice and computers in teaching and learning chemistry. It is concentrated primarily on individual independent work and gaining and practicing teaching skills.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

prepare and carry out the chemistry lesson and make its evaluation,

utilize suitable periodical in teaching chemistry,

use PC and learning SW in preparation and realization the chemistry lessons.

Syllabus -

1. Chemistry lesson: written chemical and didactic preparation for chemistry lesson and methodical performance.

2. Periodical for chemistry teachers: excerption and evaluation of three articles from Czech and foreign periodical.

3. Experience from pedagogical practice: drawing up of the record according to assigned structure and the participation

in discussion.

4. Computers in teaching and learning chemistry:to work out PC prezentation or video demonstration.
