Annotation -
The aim of the course is to develop communication skills, with focus on the specific features of professional language. The topics cover academic life, general chemistry, laboratory work and processing technologies in relation to the environment.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to :

  • Work with the language using proper lexical, grammatical and stylistic means
  • Select information given in written and spoken forms, interpret the information and respond in writing and speaking
  • Express different degrees of agreement, argue their opinions
  • Take part in a professional discussion
  • Write a summary based on a specific professional topic
