Annotation -
The course introduces students to the basics of mining, transport and storage of crude oil. Basic chemical and fractional composition of crude oil is presented. The main part of the course is devoted to the processing of crude oil, production and properties of motor fuels, heating oils, lubricating oils, asphalt and other refinery products.

6 Catalytic hydrocracking of high boiling petroleum fractions

7 Refining of fuel

8 Production of hydrogen, processing of hydrogen sulphide

9 Reforming and isomerization of naphtha

10 Production of gasoline components by alkylation and polymerization, production of ethers

12 Consumption of petroleum products, motor fuel combustion
