Annotation -
This laboratory course is designed as a multiple-theme programme provided by departments that are participating in the Specialization “Materials Chemistry and Technology” of the Study Programme “Chemistry, Technology and Materials”. The course tasks will cover the following fields: metal processing and corrosion, glass and ceramic technology, polymer properties and processing, electrolysis and membrane technology, spectroscopic characterization of materials. Thus, students will become familiar with both materials synthesis and their characterization. Students will also improve their ability to record and process results and to make conclusions using measured data.

Course completion requirements -

Each task should end with a report, the extent of which is specified in the instructions for particular tasks. After each task is completed, a lecturer fills the mark in the student’s examination form. The form is available on the following e-learning web site https://e-learning.vscht.cz/course/view.php?idnumber=AM101020. The final examination grade is then an average of obtained marks. The assessment is recorded by the guarantor of the course.
