The lecture topics illustrate current applicable knowledge regarding techologically significant cell processes, functions and properties as well as potential utility of different cell types (incl. artificial cell compratments) in different fields of biotechnology. This course is designed to help students summarize selected knowledge of different biological disciplines and understand the main R&D streams in the area of biotechnology.
