Annotation -
The first part of the subject deals with basic processes of iron production in blast furnace, alternative processes of direct reduction of iron ores and processes of steel production, including processing of iron and steel semi-finished products. The second part of the subject is focused on processes and technologies of common as well as rare non-ferrous metals. Treatment of some types of metal-bearing wastes is mentioned, too.
