The subject is focused on the characterization of the melting and shaping process of the glasses and on the description of the melting devices including the all-electric.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

analyze the basic processes involved in melting and forming of glasses

characterize the basic types of glass melting furnaces

propose the necessary improvements to optimize the operation of glass technology equipment
