The subject aims to provide skills in methods of biochemistry, molecular biology and other fields to successfully carry out the diploma thesis project at the workplace (laboratory at ICT Prague or at partner institution).

Students will be able to:

Apply methods and approaches used in their diploma theses in the range of the first semester of the master program

Analyze and present results in the form of short project reports in the range of the first semester of the master program

Syllabus -

Student will carry out a preliminary work on diploma thesis project in a laboratory at ICT Prague or a partner institution. Students will become skilled in techniques of biochemistry research, result presentation at laboratory seminars, data reporting to successfully carry out the diploma thesis. Students will submit a progress report. Students will be trained for good laboratory practice and safety.
