Annotation -
The subject is aimed at understanding basic principles and mechanisms in modern organic chemistry. Attention is given primarily to the structure of organic compounds and their reactivity which is a prerequisite for a deeper understanding of organic chemistry.
Last update: Kubová Petra (19.12.2017)
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

Understand the basics of molecular structure (AO, MO) and structure of organic compounds (isomers)

Assess reactivity of organic compounds (thermodynamics, kinetics)

Depict reaction mechanisms of principle organic reactions (nucleophilic substitution, addition, elimination, …)

Last update: Parkan Kamil (27.02.2018)
Course completion requirements

Napsání započtového testu, zkouškového testu a ústní zkouška.
