Annotation -
The subject puts the emphasis on the fundamental technologies of pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical production of non-ferrous metals from ores and metal-bearing wastes and refining of non-ferrous metals.

Sudents will be able to:

describe and apply the technologies of the productions of basic non-ferrous metals, high-melting and noble metals including methods of wastes processing and the production of high purity metals and metallic powders.
