The subject presents relation between environment and chemical technology. Priciples of sustainable development and reduction of green-house gasses are given as case study. Survey of waste tretment processes and waste disposal technic is also presented. Green chemistry and sustainable chemical technology is applied in the subject.

Students will be able to: Analyze both existing and developed chemical processes from point of view of ecological impacts and demands. Implement and evaluate waste treatment processes to get clean chemical technology. To be able to participate in design and adaptation of chemical processes in compliance with principles of sustainable development and "green chemistry".
