1. Basic types and characteristics of inorganic non-metallic materials, microstructure and atomic structure of INM

2. Functional properties of INM compared to metallic and polymeric materials

3. Physical-chemical principles of processes during preparation and use of INM – steady state diffusion, non-steady diffusion

4. Physical-chemical principles of processes during preparation and use of INM – nucleation and crystallization, phase transformations, dissolution in melts and aqueous solutions

5. Physical-chemical principles of processes during preparation and use of INM – kinetics and mechanisms of solid state reactions, sintering

6. Rheological behavior of substances, rheological models of INM

7. Scheme of glass production, industrially produced silicate glasses and their compositions

8. Phosphate and borate glass, oxynitride glass, glasses for application in medicine

9. Properties of glass and their dependence on glass composition

10. Scheme of ceramics production, classical ceramics based on clay raw materials, refractories

11. Engineering ceramics – oxide and non-oxide ceramics
