1. Basic properties of polymer materials (composition, dispersity of properties)

2. Ways of polymer materials failure

3. Causes of polymer product failure: processing, design of product, bad choice of material

4. Degradation of polymer materials influenced by environmental factors

5. Methods of determination of polymer additives

6. Flow properties of polymers, measuring of viscosity, flow curves, plasticity of elastomers, vulcanization characteristics of rubber mixture

7. Static testing of polymer mechanical properties (creep, relaxation)

8. Dynamic testing of polymer mechanical properties

9. Thermal behavior of polymers and characterization methods (DSC, DMA, TGA)

10. Methods of polymer molar mass determination (relative methods, absolute methods)

11. Separation techniques in analysis of polymer materials: SEC

12. Separation techniques: interaction chromatography, LCCC, FFF, TREF

13. Methods of surface analysis of polymer materials

14. Case studies of failure of plastic and elastomeric products (pipes, containers, sealing)
