Annotation -
The course is focused on developing the acquired knowledge necessary for basic communication in everyday life situations. The aim is to achieve B1 level according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

1. Verbs with infinitive and verbs followed by -ing

2. Modal verbs have to, don’t have to, must, mustn’t; modifiers a bit, really, etc.

3. Sport vocabulary; expressing movement; at a department store; writing a formal e-mail

4. If clauses - first and second conditionals; confusing verbs know/meet, borrow/lend

5. Animals; decisions; modal verbs may/might

6. Giving advice should/shouldn’t; at the pharmacy; writing to a friend

7. Fears vocabulary; present perfect vs. past simple; biographies

8. School subjects; used to; inventions; passive; how to get there; describing a building
