The course focuses on understanding innovation management as a key part of organizational management in a dynamic competitive environment. Students will become familiar with the concept of innovation, its typology, innovation cycles and trends, the relationship between innovation and competitiveness, and the main instruments supporting innovation activities. The course also addresses corporate innovation strategy, innovation process management, innovation assessment, change management, methods and techniques for managing innovation, economic aspects of innovation, intellectual property protection, and the role of knowledge management and intrapreneurship. In addition, the course introduces alternative perspectives on innovation and emphasizes the practical application of acquired knowledge in organizational and business settings.
