The aim of the course is to familiarize students with specific problems that they may encounter as water managers or environmental engineers. Students will be divided into groups and in the introductory class they will be given a specific technological project to work on. As part of the course, they will complete a series of seminars focused on working with literature, data processing, presentation skills and a professional introduction to the technological project assignment. Students solve assigned tasks in groups in order to also become familiar with the principles of teamwork. The solution procedure is as follows: problem analysis, selection of a solution method, search for the necessary data and their own solution to the problem. Students prepare a written report on the solution to the problem and defend the results of their work at the final (oral) defense with a presentation. During the defense, students critically evaluate the solutions of other projects.
