The content of the course is an overview and examples of studies, which can be used with relatively high accuracy to estimate the nutritional status of the population or a specifically selected segment of the population and targeted any nutritional intervention. The second part of the course is devoted to the work of global, European and national organizations dealing with nutrition.

Students in the course acquire basic knowledge about the possibilities and methods of assessing the nutritional status of the population. Students learn in the form of lectures with included practical aspects.
