Annotation -
The Bachelor Project I course aims to integrate the student into a research group, where he/she will independently work on a scientific task under the guidance of an experienced worker. The project topic corresponds to the specific focus of the study program. While working on a given project, the student will deepen the theoretical knowledge acquired during his/her studies and apply it to solving a specific scientific problem. Students will become familiar with the methodology of scientific work, learn to plan experimental activities, process and analyze data, work with literature and formulate conclusions.

The condition for completing the course is to complete the tasks assigned by the supervisor to the extent equivalent to 6 hours per week.

Teaching methods -

The teaching takes place in a combination of all forms, including the transfer of knowledge in the form of a message and an instructive approach from the supervisor, research, self-study and consultations (physical and online) with team members and the supervisor. The course thus simulates a real work environment.

Requirements to the exam -

The prerequisite for obtaining the credit is the student's active attendance in the supervisor's laboratory and the completion of the assigned task for 6 hours per week. The credit will also include a presentation of the obtained results.
