Annotation -
One-semester review lecture, focusing on the history of industrialization, especially on the development of the concept of space and time in European science and culture from the second half of the 18th to the first half of the 20th century. The lecture is dedicated the development of scientific knowledge, information channels, energy distribution networks, means of transport and their supporting infrastructures in the period. It also shows the impact of the industrial revolution on changes in architecture, the fine arts and literature.
