The course builds on Organic technology and discusses the basic categories of fine chemicals: surfactants, dyes, biologically active agents, fragrance and taste agents, auxiliaries for polymers, etc. Students will learn the application of chemistry in various fields of human activity, the principles of action of a large variety of final chemical products, and to establish their syntheses.

Biologicaly active compounds. Basic types of pharmaceuticals. 10. Pesticides and others agrochemicals. Insecticides. Rodenticides. 11. Fungicides. Herbicides. Ecological aspects of agrochemicals application. 12. Flavors and fragrances. Basic types of monomers. 13. Aditives for polymers. 14. Aditives for plastic materials and rubbers.
