Annotation -
In Analysis of alternative fuels, students will gain an overview of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels, which represent an alternative to conventional fuels from coal, oil or natural gas. Students will gain knowledge about the technical requirements placed on these fuels and about the analytical tests that verify the fulfillment of these requirements.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

  • orientate themselves in the problematics of fossil and alternative fuels, their operating and legislative parameters,
  • choose a suitable analytical method to determine the required parameter of solid, liquid, and gaseous alternative fuels.
