Annotation -
The subject is aimed at the fundamentals of processing and utilization of fossil and alternative fuels. Students get information about processing technologies of petroleum, coal and natural gas and information about the properties of final products and ways of their distribution. A part of the subject is also focused on alternative liquid and gaseous fuels.

Aim of the course -

Students will know:

Fundamentals of petroleum processing and production of most important petroleum products.

Utilization and basic properties of motor fuels and other petroleum products.

Fundamentals of coal and natural gas processing.

Utilization and basic properties of alternative liquid and gaseous fuels.
