Annotation -
Theoretical fundamentals of the use of chemical reactions for chemical analysis are extended especially with respect to the existence of systematic bias of analytical results. The first part is focused on the correct expression of measurement results. The second part is devoted to chemical equilibria in analytical chemistry (protolytic, complexation, precipitation and redox systems) that affect analyte behaviour in the aqueous environment with emphasize on graphical modeling of equilibrium composition. The last part is devoted to nonlinear regression and various tools for experimental data processing with the aim of equilibrium constants determination in aqueous solutions. In exercises, the students solve individually practical problems using simple algorithms.
