The course is focused on the practical application of both individual components (methods and techniques - especially applied statistical methods and techniques) used in the Six Sigma approach, and the joint application of these components within the entire DMAIC cycle (define, measure, analyze, improve, control). .

Six Sigma (basics and history of the approach, focus of methodology and application options), Six Sigma applications in production and service delivery

The relationship between Six Sigma and Lean Management, linking the goals of Six Sigma projects with the strategy of the organization

Basic description of DMAIC methodology

DEFINE - project selection for Six Sigma application, project team creation and project planning

DEFINE - stakeholder analysis (relationship analysis, influence matrix, choice of communication strategy for individual stakeholders)

DEFINE - customer voice determination (VOC) and identification of CTQ (Critical to Quality)

DEFINE / MEASURE - process mapping

MEASURE - process capability, determination of causes, identification of root causes

MEASURE - planning of data collection, implementation of data collection (types of data, forms for data collection, operational definitions for measurement and monitoring, ensuring and verification of data validity)

ANALYSIS - data analysis (graphical analysis, correlation and regression analysis, hypothesis testing), verification of the correctness of root cause identification

IMPROVE - solution design, priority setting and choice of solution variant

IMPROVE - implementation of improvements
