The course presents the development, validation and application of chemical engineering models simulating processes in glass melting. Models include melt flow simulation in real neizotermním space redox balance of ingredients and melt behavior of solid particles and bubbles in the melt. Using the model aims to describe the melting of existing glass melting furnaces and proposed new arrangement of melting spaces with high utilization and energy efficiency.
