Preliminary part of study deal with summarization of fundamental knowledge relevant to ecology and taxonomy od microorganisms, their occurrence (planktonic forms, biofilms, vegetative forms, spores), methods of study (microscopy, cultivation, molecular biology). Further are solved pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms at process of water treatment, in disinfected water, and methods of study in reaction on new legislation and new technologies of purification (membrane process, sorption, biosensors). Problems of the support of microbial growth on materials used ibn water technologies are solved and discussed (ecological balance, risks), secondary contamination, taste and odours. In case of waste waters and recycling (grey waters) are introduced new indicators (bacteria, bacteriophages), methods of study, including the question of resistance on biocides and microbicide preparations (or antibiotic). |
