Annotation -
The course includes discussion of reaction kinetics of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions, characterisation of transport processes concerned with heterogeneous catalysis, non-catalytic reactions solid-fluid, catalyst deactivation, gas-liquid reactions, modelling of batch, tubular flow and continuous flow tank ractors, studium of character of flow in reactors, fluidized bad and multiphase reactors, solution of problems using mathematical modelling.

Aim of the course -

The students will be able to

  • orientate oneself in the problematic of chemical reactors,
  • to understand of transport and reaction processes taking place in different types of reactors,
  • to formulate and solve mathematical models of heterogeneous reactors,
  • to orientate in up-to-date taking of heterogeneous reactors technologies.
