The course is based on these topics: First part: 1. Introduction to modern management. 2. The prosperity of the organization and the factors that affect it. Situational analysis, SWOT analysis. Second part: 3. Managerial functions - Decision-making. Planning. 4. Managerial functions – Organizing, Implementation. 5. Managerial functions – Leadership, Human resources management. 6. Managerial functions – Monitoring and Checking 7. Contemporary trends and their influence on management (influence of digitization, sustainable management,…).

The expected outcome of the course is that students will:

• understand overall thematic structure and issues of modern corporate management,

• understand the content, basic tools and key management functions,

• understand the principle of key management trends, and their influence on corporate management.
