Annotation -

The introduction to laboratory practice will include tasks that will teach students the basic operations in the laboratory at the university level. It will be focused mainly on acquiring good fundamentals of laboratory practice and will teach students the correct practice of weighing, measuring and sample preparation and preservation, as well as basic laboratory techniques and chemical processes.

1) Weighing, measuring - good practice, errors and uncertainties.

2) Sample preparation and storage.

3) Titration analysis of oxidizable samples from the previous exercise.

4) Polymerization and properties of polymers

5) Precipitation as a chemical reaction and crystallization as a physical process.

6) Product separation and purification techniques.

7) Excursion to assistant and measurement laboratories
