Annotation -
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with both traditional and innovative materials and technologies in the construction industry. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the basic properties of individual materials and the possibilities of their application from the point of view of the construction industry. Part of the lectures will be focused on new materials that are absolutely fundamental from the point of view of sustainability and ecology, and which are required by today's scientific and technological progress. The listener will thus gain an overview of materials that are an integral part of his daily life and form an idea of current trends in the construction industry.
