The subject is focused on the further expansion of students' competences and laboratory skills and their independence in fulfilling assigned scientific research tasks in the field of inorganic, organic or polymer chemistry. As a rule, students will continue to work on the project in one of the scientific groups of the participating institutes of VŠCHT Prague. Depending on their primary area of ​​interest and focus, students will work in laboratories at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, the Institute of Organic Chemistry or the Institute of Polymers. As part of the course, regular attendance at the selected laboratory and work on the assigned project under the guidance of an experienced assistant (min. PhD student) are expected. The awarding of graded credit is tied to the presentation of project results at a student scientific conference at the home institute.

Předmět je zaměřen na další rozšíření kompetencí a laboratorní zručnosti studentů a jejich samostatnost při plnění zadaných vědecko-výzkumných úkolů v oblasti anorganické, organické či polymerní chemie. Studenti budou zpravidla dále pracovat na projektu v některé z vědeckých skupin participujících ústavů VŠCHT Praha. Podle své primární oblasti zájmu a zaměření tak studenti budou pracovat v laboratořích na Ústavu anorganické chemie, na Ústavu organické chemie nebo na Ústavu polymerů. V rámci předmětu se předpokládá pravidelná docházka do vybrané laboratoře a práce na zadaném projektu pod vedením zkušeného asistenta (min. PhD studenta). Udělení klasifikovaného zápočtu je vázáno na prezentaci výsledků projektu na studentské vědecké konferenci na domovském ústavu.
