Annotation -
Under the term electronics we can imagine a set of components, technologies and analytical methods functioning for modern technology applications. The subject "Electronic Materials" aims to describe, classify and summarize knowledge of the properties of these materials and their applications. You will also be familiar with the basic types of electronic components, the principle of their function and materials for their production (display element, hard drive, semiconductor processing).

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

Present a table of materials in electronics, their distribution.

Explain basic and important properties of conductive, semi-conductive and non-conductive materials with application in electronics.

Describe properties and principles of selected phenomena and components (HDD, LCD display).
